"Article 14 uses two expressions Equality before law which implies the absence of any special privileges in favour of individuals and the subject of all classes to the ordinary law and equal protection of the law which implies Equal Treatment in Equal Circumstances" But in practicality if a common man commits a crime and a celebrity commiting the same crime whether are they treated equally? Drugs, gambling, rash or negligence acts, threatening journalists, carrying illegal guns, driving without a licence you name it, and some star has actually done it and getting away with it after paying fines or fighting laws. And when they are on trial, they are provided with advanced facilities and are treated as though they are on holiday from work.
