Terms & Conditions

These terms govern the use of ijilr.org and the services of the International Journal of Integrated Law Review (ISSN 2582-7014), published by PEARL MEDIA PUBLICATIONS PVT LTD. By using this site or submitting a manuscript, you accept them.

1. The service

The journal publishes peer-reviewed legal scholarship on open access terms. It provides editorial handling, similarity screening, double-blind peer review, production and permanent hosting.

2. Submitting a manuscript

By submitting you confirm that:

  • the work is your own and, where co-authored, that every listed author has approved the submission;
  • it has not been published before and is not under consideration elsewhere;
  • it does not infringe any copyright, and permission has been obtained for any third-party material reproduced in it;
  • it is not defamatory and does not disclose material you are not entitled to disclose, including client-confidential information;
  • any use of generative AI tools has been declared.

3. No guarantee of publication

Submission does not create an entitlement to publication. The Editor-in-Chief may decline any manuscript. Payment of the article processing charge arises only after acceptance and does not itself secure publication.

4. Fees

Fees are as set out on the Article Processing Charges page and may change; the rate applicable is the one in force at the date of acceptance. Refunds are governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

5. Copyright and licence

Authors retain copyright. By publishing with the journal you grant a right of first publication and agree that the paper is released under CC BY 4.0, which allows anyone to share and adapt it with attribution.

6. Use of this site

You may read, download, print and redistribute published papers under CC BY 4.0. You may not:

  • misrepresent the journal, forge its branding, or claim publication you do not have;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the system;
  • use automated tools in a way that degrades the service for others;
  • scrape and republish content in a way that strips author attribution.

7. Content is not legal advice

Everything published here is academic commentary. It is not legal advice, it is not a substitute for advice from a qualified practitioner, and no relationship of advocate and client arises from reading it. Views expressed are the authors' own.

8. Accuracy and availability

The journal takes care over what it publishes but does not warrant that content is free of error or that the site will be uninterrupted. Access may be suspended for maintenance.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the journal and its publisher are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this site or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Third-party links

The site links to external resources. The journal is not responsible for their content or availability.

11. Misconduct

Plagiarism, duplicate submission, fabricated authorship, fabricated data and citation manipulation may result in rejection, retraction, notification of your institution, and refusal of future submissions.

12. Changes

These terms may be updated. The version on this page is the one in force.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
