Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy covers article processing charges and any payment for printed copies made to the International Journal of Integrated Law Review, published by PEARL MEDIA PUBLICATIONS PVT LTD.

When payment arises at all

There is no submission fee and no review fee. An article processing charge is raised only after a manuscript has been accepted. Nothing is payable to have a manuscript considered.

Refunds — printed copies

  • Cancel before dispatch: full refund.
  • Order arrives damaged or defective: replacement or full refund. Tell us within 7 days of delivery and include photographs.
  • Order confirmed lost by the courier: replacement or full refund.
  • Change of mind after dispatch: printed copies are produced to order, so no refund is offered once an item has been dispatched.

How to request a refund

Write to editor.ijilr@gmail.com with the subject line "Refund request", giving:

  • the manuscript title or order reference,
  • the payment date, amount and transaction reference, and
  • the reason for the request.

How refunds are processed

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. We aim to initiate an approved refund within 7 working days of approval. How long it then takes to appear depends on your bank or card issuer, and is outside the journal's control — commonly a further 5 to 10 working days.

Bank charges, currency conversion losses and payment gateway fees incurred on the original transaction are not refundable, as the journal does not receive them.

Disputes

If you are dissatisfied with a refund decision, write to the editorial office setting out why. Please raise the matter with the journal before initiating a chargeback, which is slower for everyone.
